NoNo
The simple answer is no. The engine part numbers are different. The computer systems and calibration are different. Physically it would fit, but alot of modifications would need to be done. Engine harness locations, sensor connectors, calibrations, computer, power steering, A/C- would all have to modifed. TechJK --------------------------------- You may not be able to swap engine for engine but the engines are the same. Take all the electronics and everthing off and use you existing components. Use the raw motor, or longblock assembly. It will work. The simple answer is YES, as long as you don't need the wiring harness, CPU and accessories. You will need to use your existing parts. The engines are the same, motor mounts all the way up.
The engine computer is the voltage regulator.
If you are wanting to switch from a V6, you will need a different transmission, wiring harness, and computer.
Engine timing is computer controlled and is not adjustable.

if it fits in the vehicle and the transmission bolts up to the engine i do not see why it would not is a 3.4l or 3.8
The engine computer is inside the driver side fender.
The rev limiter is part of the programming of the engine computer.
Its definitely possible. You may need to have the other wiring harness and computer, but it can be done. If you're not very familiar with doing this kinda stuff I'd recommend taking it to your local garage and have them do it.
