Most will not. I currently work for T-mobile and I know that most companies don't have the capability to go through each individuals millions of messages, let alone release them. If there is police involvement however, there are different protocols and it can be done with a pretty elite team. Not usually for normal every day situations though.
Not normally. Usually the only way to get mobile phone texts would be by court order. Even then, the only people permitted to see them would be legal counsel.
yeah
No. Text messages cannot be read on the phone bill. However, by special requests, such as subpoenas, and the like, the phone company will release the contents of text messages (under certain circumstances).Added: The number to which the text message was sent will be noted however.
Yes they can. all text messages are stored on the phone company's computers - before they're sent to the phone itself. Phone companies are required to keep text messages for a period (in the UK it's three years). Retrieval of old messages can only be done via a court order.
yes, if they request to, the phone company will give them up
Just as there is 'junk mail' to your e-mail account there is also 'junk messages' to your mobile phone. I have had several messages from the same number. I kept sending them back to the company who sent them to me - and the messages stopped
One can get a contract for free sms messages from a variety of different cell phone plans. One can also work for an company that offers free phone plans.
actually, they can sell it to 1-800 companies for a few bucks. that is why i (and alot of others) get stupid recording messages from 1-800 numbers. so yes. they can. if it happens to you, ask your phone company to change your phone # and it will hopefully become less frequient or stop. hope this helps :)
The text messages are stored on the network's computer - NOT your phone. They are simply downloaded to your phone when they're received. The police simply need to serve a warrant on the company, to have them print out your messages. The don't need your phone !
No. Voicemail is part of the phone system at the cell phone company, it is not part of the cell phone.
i don't think so.....
It's a company that charges your phone through your phone company for services they claim you asked for. Call your phone company to cancel those messages and ask for a reimbursement, then report it to your local consumer protection office.
Go to the phone company and ask them to pull the records from then to now.
Text blocks can usually only be done by your cell provider. The message has to be blocked before it is sent out by your phone company. If your company sends it, you will be charged even if it is not displayed on your phone.
