No. Racism should not be the reason for your vote in the 2009 Obama/McCain election. Millions of white people voted for Barack Obama, and millions of black people voted for John McCain. And, some racist people voted for who ever was their color.

∙ 14y agoWell most blacks vote democratic anyway so who knows if it were a republican i think many fewer would vote for him. black candidates have lost in districts that are almost all black, so it is hard to believe it would be different for the president.
Some black people did vote for Obama just because he was black. Infact Coolio the rapper announced he did just that on live TV and also stated many others did too.
