Yes, but it might not work. For dogs, try using vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the perimeter and between the rows and no more unwanted visitors. Their sense of smell is too sensitive and they will vacate the area. Repeat after rains as necessary. For cats, they should only mess with your plants if they need to, either there is something in the plant that they need and you are not giving them, or if they are trapped inside and starving. But if you really want to keep cats away, try spraying ammonia on the plant. This might attract the dogs though. Cats avoid their own urine.
I hope so. I read somewhere that NYC and NJ have suggested that people sprinkle their engines with cayenne pepper to keep rats from crawling in through the exhaust pipes to chew on the engine wires their cars. Icky, but true. It really works. They can't stand the smell or taste, so it's probably a temporary solution until you can get an exterminator.
Not my veggies. I have sprinkled Cayenne Pepper on all my plants. I find that Peppers are one of the meals Squash Bugs, Bean Beettles and Cucumber Beatles like. Cayenne Pepper doesn't affect them at all, except to attract them.
In my experience that depends entirely on the dog, and what's on the lawn. If you left a juicy T-bone steak in the middle of your grass there's no amount of cayenne that'll keep 'em off. That said, I've have good luck with a jalapeno juice mixture sprayed along the edges of my yard.
Cayenne pepper will not harm plants. It is often used as a natural insecticide or to keep small critters out of fruit and vegetable gardens.
If you put Cayenne pepper in a spray bottle mixed with water, and you spray it wherever you don't want cats, then it will.
No!
Red pepper should not harm plants in your garden if you sprinkle it around the plants to keep the cats and dogs away. However I would keep it away from the leaves and petals.
Cayenne pepper can be taken anytime, preferably in the morning, although it's not a stimulant; it won't keep you up at night.
Cayenne.
You should not use Clorox or any type of bleach to keep cats away. Clorox and bleach are poisonous and can kill the cats.
i would say so. i have 3 cats, but im not gonna try that on them.
I have never heard of that, but citrus peel tends to keep cats away, they hate it with a vengence
They do ,most of the time so keep your cats away from them
They can keep mice away
by not bringing it near the orchids
yew
Yes.Sprinkle black ground pepper around the cage.It is not harmful to either animal. It will stop the cat from bothering the rabbit. This MAY help but if a cat smells blood (from new babies being kindled) this will not keep him away. The best you can do is put your rabbits up high with no way to reach from above either, nothing to climb on so they can drop down on your cages. Some people use ferret urine to keep mice, etc. from the rabbitry. Cats don't like ferrets either so this might be a good way to keep them away. Live traps will remove cats from your area.
