SPME WILL FADE BUT FADE RESITANT INKS ARE AVAILABLE
Normal ink, as used in injet type printers, will quickly fade if exposed to sunlight. For instance: place a freshly printed page in direct sunlight, cover half the page with a flat stone, or anything that will shade the area. Check in a few hours, and compare the page - you should be able to see that the uncovered area has faded (depending on the length of exposure). A laser printer (which uses a resin toner) will not fade, and is best for printing display posters, notices, etc, outdoors.
Probably white ones (or very light colors, such as pastel pink).
According to some sources, photos fade do to Ozone which is also present in the air around everyone. This Ozone is an oxidizing gas that attacks and degrades the ink in photo prints if the photo is left exposed to air.
'Fade' can indeed be a noun - as in 'a fade to black' in a movie. Fade is its own noun.
