yes if the doctor's really stupid Two ways to dilute the concentration of anything in your urine are direct dilution; by adding another liquid to the sample, and indirect; ie drinking a LOT of water just before the test. Test facilities are aware of most schemes to alter a test result and they take measures to prevent any tampering with the sample. Usually they put a blue dye in the toilet water to stop any addition of that water, and they limit the access to tap water in a sink. Additionally they often check the temperature of the sample to assure that it is close to the normal 98.6 F of a human body, in case you tried to smuggle in your own water. If you drink a lot of liquids to attempt that type of dilution they may notice that the urine is an extremely light color and reject the sample. Taking a B-complex vitamin just before the test will cause the urine to be the proper color and make the sample appear unaltered.
Depends on what type of drug is in your system. With marijuana you can drink alot of water to dilute your urine and it won't show on a drug screen. But with methamphetamine, you can drink all the water you want and it will still show up within 72 hours of using.
Drinking water does help speed up the process of getting any drug out of your system. It has to do with how the drug is broken down in the body as to how long it will stay in your system and how you can "cover it up". THC from marijuana clings to your fat cells-methamphetamine doesn't.
Yes. Urine must contain a minimum of five percent urea to be considered acceptable for urinalysis testing. Less than five percent urea - through flushing with water or other means - and the test results will be considered "ambiguous". In other words, a failed test, or, in the case of urinalysis for probation or parole, the same as a "hot" UA. Unfortunately, you can pretty much count on further testing if the initial test result was ambiguous. Accordingly, I suggest that you use the intervening time to bring your levels down so that the next test will be free of toxins. There is at least one OTC product that works, at least for me. A product called "STAT FLUSH" provided a clean UA (marijuana) by following the directions, which included 48 hours of no marijuana prior to urinalysis. For me that was the hardest part of the test. Good luck, my friends.
yes you can but it takes along time for example for marijuana even if you drink alot of water and urinate it's still likely to be in your system for about 15 to 30 days but believe it or not the best way to get drugs out of your system is by your fieces. By taking laxitives or drinks such as protox ( which works more effectively than any regular laxitives) you cause your body to dispel any impurities ( like the drugs you were taking) through your fecalmatter.
Everything can dilute your urine! A regular urinalysis often includes the following tests: color, clarity, odor, specific gravity, creatinin, PH etc... The Lab will understand if you drink tones of any kind of liquid.
No it does not dilute the drugs in your system. Think about it. When you drink a bunch of water your urine is clear and has more water than toxins, thus it is diluted. When you are dehydrated you have less or no water in your body at all. So, even if you do manage to urinate when dehydrated it will be a very dark golden color indicating all the toxins in it. Of course, it depends on what drug your trying to dilute. If its weed, the metabolites of THC are stored in your fat cells. So you are going to have to increase your metabolism and drink a bunch of water to piss out all that good stuff. Any other drug, I don't know.
No. sodium levels would be suspiciously low. It is too obvious to the testers and would immediately be flushed out.
no, the urine won't have enough chemicals. it isn't supposed to have tap water in it.
No, but not doing drugs will.
Adding water can often slow down a chemical reaction by diluting it. This is the case of a quantitative reaction such as an enzymatic reaction.
If its there it will be found, diluting will not hide it.
what effect would adding water to a urine sample have on it for suspected drink driving
Physical, because you are only diluting the tea, but not creating a new substance.
If you are talking about diluting your urine with water to pass a urine test, then no, this would not be an ideal method to use in a urine test situation. If the color of your urine is too clear, many places that test urine will ask for another sample. Only time will clear your body of THC.
Drink water?
Water is the most common liquid used to dilute solutions (reduce their strength). Adding anything to water will not change its properties, only introduce other chemical properties. That is, if you added alcohol to water, you would be diluting the alcohol, not the water. You can moderate some of the properties of water by heating or cooling it, or adding solid solutes to make a gel or suspension.
abosolutely NOT. diluting your urine with water will not help you pass a urine test. if you have any drugs in your system the machine WILL pick it up. no matter what. so about the whole powerade or soda. your just wasting your time, the drug will still be in your system. and weed takes at least a month to be fully out of your system anyways. please think resposibly. say NO to drugs.
Yes, diluting orange squash with water is a physical change.
Water typically doesn't "flush" your system of THC, what drinking a lot of water does is adds water to your urine, diluting it and making it harder to detect the THC so drink a lot of water before you urinate for a test and pray it will work.
You can dilute by adding distilled water. When diluting, be sure to add the solution to water several times instead of adding water to the solution (especially if it is highly concentrated).
