With the exception of traffic tickets, all past criminal offenses will show up on the background checks used to vet potential teachers. This is due to the fact that teachers work with children, so all their prior offenses must be known before they can begin working.

Misdemeanor. But as easy and lenient as it probably was, it does not show up well on your record that you violated it.

Can a disorderly conduct violation prevent you getting job in the health fild?

Disorderly conduct is one of the most common crimes charged in the United States. It is almost always a misdemeanor and is almost never a crime of moral turpitude (involving honesty, integrity, etc.) The good thing about it is disorderly conduct is one of those crimes that in which your behavior that caused the violation can be explained because the charge is often subjective to police interpretation. For example, continually honking a horn in a residential neighborhood at 2am could get you a charge of disorderly conduct. Now, that probably wouldn't be too serious to a prospective employer , but on the other hand, if your disorderly conduct involved something like picking up a prostitute or running naked down a street screaming, you would definitely be a turn off to a prospective employer. In short, chances are not likely a disorderly conduct charge would keep you from getting a job as long as it does not show a pattern of bad behavior.

If you are initially charged with assault on a female and are offered disorderly conduct will anyone ever know you were charged with a domestic violence charge?

Confusingly worded question. The fact that you accepted a plea to Disorderly, will definitely show up, but so will whatever the original charge was, so they will be able to tell what it was bargained down from. What WAS the original charge? Assault or Domestic Violence? THAT is the charge that will show up. Depending under who's law your being prosecuted. If this is British law then NO, your domestic violence will not show up on a CRB check but your disorderly conduct will.

When a spouse calls the cops on you and tickets you with a disorderly conduct ticket is it supposed to keep you from getting a job?

First of all.... your spouse could have been the one who called the police on you, but the spouse is incapable of issuing you a ticket or searing out a ticket on you. Therefore, your conduct in front of the officer(s) must have been the cause of your getting a citation for disorderly conduct. As for affecting your getting a job, I seriously doubt it. Although it will show up on your record, in the scheme of things, it is a very minor misdemeanor.

Persons eighteen years old are not "kids," they are legally adults. THey could be charged with something similar to 'Disorderly Conduct' or 'fleeing to elude,' probably a misdemeanor offense.
