If from the same body style, yes.
The bolt pattern for Dodge Dakota wheels is 6 on 4.5inches (114.3mm) for 4x4 models and 5 on 4.5 inch for older two wheel drive models.
It isn't feasible to convert from two wheel drive to four wheel drive.
The GMC Jimmy is rear wheel drive. The only time the front wheels pulled is if it was a 4x4.
mine was clickin as i turned the wheels and when putting it in 4 wheel drive "electric 4*4" it was a hub bearing goin out
all wheel drive has power going to all 4 wheels all the time the vehicle is in motion My 1995 Ford Explorer is four wheel drive , it has a two wheel drive setting that powers the rear wheels , a 4x4 automatic setting where if the back wheels slip some of the power is transferred to the front wheels , and a 4x4 low setting that sends power to all 4 wheels continuously for off road use at reduced speeds
A 2003 Ford Explorer is REAR wheel drive ( and if it has the Control-Trac 4x4 system , and it is set on 4x4 AUTO , if the back wheels were to " slip " then some of the power is transferred to the front wheels )
You cannot. Four wheel drive really needs four wheels.
if it has 4 wheel drive ,yes.Brought many a ford 4x4 home on front wheels of 4x4 when i damaged the rear drive shaft mudding.
The basic concept is that 4x4 runs 4 wheels when you need it. All wheel drive runs them all the time regardless. The difference is, with 4x4 you get the option of high and low gears in 4x4, and not the same way with all wheel drive. "All Wheel Drive" vehicles do not run all 4 wheels at the same time. In low traction situations, the power is transferred from back wheels to front wheels where the engine weight is, when wheel spillage is detected. But "AWD" never delivers power to all 4 wheels at the same time. 4WD vehicles can power all 4 wheels at the same time, assuming that both ends are equipped with limited-slip diffs., or at least to three wheels (both rear & 1 front) if equipped with a rear diff locker only. unless it is the 4x4 version it is a front wheel drive. the 4x4 version is a front wheel drive until the 4x4 is engaged.
rear wheel drive , or four wheel drive capable if 4X4 equipped , and if you have the 5.0 L V8 engine , they came in rear wheel drive or all wheel drive versions ( where all 4 wheels had power going to them continuously )
Ford Rangers are rear wheel drive trucks, XLT is a trim package ie power windows and aluminum wheels etc. The Ranger is availabe in 2 or 4 wheel drive but is driven by the rear wheels when 4x4 is not in use.
