the engine will not missfire with bad rings, the srark plug will still ignite the fuel in the combustion chamber. you just may not have enough force down on the power stroke
Bad wire
Bad piston rings. Get new engine.
bad piston rings Excessive engine wear - Rings, Valve guides, Valve seals
Yes.
No it will not cause an engine miss.
It sure can.
The engine
it is bad for the catalytic converter and O2 sensor. It is also bad for the environment. Your engine also has less power due to the worn rings and loss of compression.
Yes, it is possible as you may have a miss. That miss would turn on the check engine light.
You probably have bad rings in at least one of your pistons.
The rings are like a gasket between the engine and the pistons. explosions happen in the engine which push the pistons to turn the engine and keep it going. If the rings are bad the explosion escapes and doesnt push pistons like its supposed to and engine wont run.
Bad bearings or bad piston rings
