Will fertilising waterlily effect goldfish

In a fishpond situation, Waterlillies should not be "fertilised" artificially. They get enough food from the planting material and the detrius made by the fish. Adding NPK type chemical fertiliser to the pond will probably do the fish heaps of damage and may even kill them.
