Yes, My metal detector has no trouble getting a reading from tinfoil while using little or no discrimination. However if you turn up the discrimination then the tinfoil will not read. (unless it is a fair sized piece of tinfoil)
The depth a Bounty Hunter BHJS Junior Metal Detector can indicate presence of metal is similar to that of a professional metal detector. It can find coins up to 5 inches deep and some larger objects up to 3 feet deep.
Metal detectors are different and my main advice would be to look into the manual of the metal detector you purchased. Sometimes there are settings where you can configure your detector to only respond to certain metal characteristics. If you got a really basic metal detector one of the prime methods is to simply investigate by digging up the object in question.
Get the keychain from the seagull near the man with the metal detectorthen go up to your inventory and click use and he will give you the metal detector
Put the battery in the metal detector and then atatch the stick to the cranck click on it get the metal detector and look and wait for a beep and then dig it up with the spade
Yes, so a metal detector simply pick on lead ore. I guess that that's just the way it is
You should always check for pipes by hand, many pipes are PVC and will not show up on a metal detector.
no it wont it is too small for the metal detector to pick up . I've gone through many of them with my belly bar
What kind of foil? The stuff you get in the supermarket to wrap sandwiches is mostly aluminum (although it contains other elements - both added intentionally and picked up from the recycling process that a lot of aluminum goes through) but "foil" is just paper-thin sheet metal so any metal malleable enough to roll down to a few thousandths of an inch thickness, and strong enough to hold together when it's rolled that thin, can be made into foil. There's gold foil, silver foil, copper foil, tin foil - yes, "tin foil" that's really made out of tin exists - lead foil, iron foil, steel foil...Aluminium is the metal used in foil. Its symbol is Al. Its atomic number is 13.
i hope so. Because i lost my iPhone 4 in a snow that's up to my knees and I'm going to try using a metal detector to locate it.
Aluminium foil is made up of aluminum which is silvery white metal and less than 0.2 mm thick. This is fragile and easily damaged and laminated to other materials such as paper and plastic to make them useful.
Coins are found by the detector sending a pulse which picks up metal signals. Now there are two types a low frequency and a pulse indicator, the low frequency is used to pick up deeper objects
Metal detectors use one of three technologies. Either very low frequency, pulse induction, and Beat-free oscillation. Metal detectors work by creating an electromagnetic feild. This is done by running current through a coil at the head of the metal detector (the part you point at the ground). When there is metal, the changes in the magnetic feild are picked up by a second receiver coil.
