battlefield 2142 wasnt designed for vista...and as most games that were made for xp or older versions of windows vista doesnt support most hardware either or the drivers for it best option is to go back to xp nobody that i know uses vista...even if they purchase a vista "ready" machine they just reformat and install a fresh copy of xp ... as it still is much better then vista google it if u doubt it
