The HALO REACH multiplayer beta is coming in May. When it does come out put your Halo 3 ODST game disk in and in should be on the Disk menu.
The Halo: Reach BETA is only available on the Xbox360 through your Halo 3:ODST campaign disk.
There is no way to get it without the Halo 3: ODST Campaign disk.

Nothing.
Yes, the xbox 360 is the only console format halo Reach has been released for.
You put in your Halo 3:ODST campaign disk and go to play the BETA and download it.
You can install Halo Reach to your hard drive like any other Xbox 360 game, however the game must be in the disk drive in order to play the game.(but if you have to put the disk its a waste of time to installing it)
Since its after May third it should be working now.
Yes, If you have the Halo Ce disk for xbox (It's 360 compatible) and the halo 2 disk (also compatible)..don't expect halo 2 to have online play via xbox live anymore though. They shut down all original xbox game severs down a while back.
