With normal use a tampon will not break the hymen. The hymen is semi-flexible and the vast majority of the time it will not tear the hymen, but it may stretch it a bit - thus answering your question of why it doesn't hurt.
The hymen does not break - it can tear but typically only as a result of rough or forced penetration. In most cases the hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and is flexible so will stretch to accommodate insertion, tampons and fingers can easily pass through most people's hymens but even larger things like sex toys or penises can normally fit through the hymen without causing tears.
If the hymen is torn it doesn't always hurt, the hymen is just left over tissue from development within the womb so has little in the way of nerve endings. People often think the hymen has to tear with first vaginal insertion/penetration and that when it tears it causes bleeding along with pain, these are largely myths.
its posible to break ur hymen before and it will hurt, how much, depends on ur pain tollerance. use a dildo or somthing like that something big and shove it in there, but if u hurt yourself by doing that its not my fault and dont blame this answer to ur question cuz im done getting in trouble ;)
Pushing down on the plunger of the applicator is what pushes the tampon into the vagina. There are many reasons why inserting tampons may hurt including you being too tense when inserting, inserting at the wrong angle, or using too high an absorbency. It would help if you were to use a non-applicator tampon to improve control and feel for resistance to insert the tampon correctly.
Not exactly, no.The hymen doesn't 'break' - it wears away, stretches or tears partly or fully. The hymen is tissue surrounding the vaginal opening, in most women it is nothing more than a narrow band of tissue in a crescent shape at the back of their vaginal opening - thus it doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening, so items like tampons, menstrual cups, fingers, or even a penis during sex may enter without the hymen tearing. There is normally enough room for a tampon to pass through without tearing, especially as the hymen is also flexible so can stretch, but it is possible for a tampon to tear the hymen - especially if insertion is forced. The hymen tearing also often doesn't hurt - there are very few nerve endings in this piece of tissue to cause pain - it most commonly goes unnoticed when torn.
You do not have a cherry and nothing pops. You may have a hymen and this is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening, it normally doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening so a tampon can typically fit through without problem - the hymen is also flexible so will stretch to accommodate things far larger than a tampon without tearing. The hymen typically only tears if there is forced or rough penetration, a tampon is unlikely to cause damage to the hymen, even if torn pain is minimal as there's little in the way of nerve endings in the hymen itself - although if penetration is rough or forced you are also likely to damage other areas of the vagina and/or vulva which could cause you pain. As for 'hurt more', it depends...more than what?
It can hurt to insert a tampon, but it shouldn't - pain is not normal when using tampons. It can hurt if you're not relaxed enough when inserting tampons because the vaginal walls clench together when you're tense, thus you'd be pushing against vaginal walls when inserting tampons. If you use too high an absorbency or if you use tampons you're allergic to this can cause pain, as too will using tampons without sufficient flow. You can also experience pain if you don't insert at an angle or if you don't insert the tampon high enough in the vagina.
Inserting a tampon should not hurt - being a virgin makes no difference as to whether it will hurt or not because sex doesn't change your vagina in any way - if scared there's no reason to use tampons. When it comes to inserting tampons you're in control so if you do start to feel pain then you just have to stop and address the cause of the pain. As long as you're relaxed and use tampons correctly it shouldn't hurt.
there is only one way. if she is her hymen will break when she has sex and it will hurt!!
You don't have a cherry and nothing 'pops'.You may have a hymen, this is tissue that surrounds the opening to the vagina - in most cases this doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and the hymen is flexible so will stretch to accommodate tampons or even larger things such as a penis during sex. The hymen can be torn as a result of inserting things vaginally but most commonly this will only occur if you use force or if you're rough.
you can break it but only if you go 31/2 inches in. also it hurts a bit but once it is done it feels really amazing =)
It wouldn't hurt the baby, but why would you put in a tampon, if you're pregnant you don't have your period.
if your hymen if completely closed over then yeah it will hurt to be honest. if its not closed over then stay relaxed and you wont notice it
The hymen does not break - it can tear if penetration is rough or forced, but typically it will stretch or wear away - vaginal tissue can tear during rough penetration too. When the hymen does tear it can hurt but not always as there are few nerve endings in the hymen, most commonly pain is a result of tearing or irritation of the vagina and/or vulva. How long it can hurt for depends on damage done, but if it continues for a few days then you should see your doctor.
