It depends what you plan on studying in college. If you want to study math or science, you'll probably not enjoy the college math that you have to do. That may "be hard on you". If you study something in the humanities, you'll probably have to take one or two math classes, but it shouldn't be too bad. Try to do well on your high school classes anyway, though. Even if you're studying English in college, you may have to take pre-collegiate math classes before you can take one that satisfies your General Education requirement. I recommend you avoid that by being as prepared as you can for college math.
== Your ability to do well in math may have more factors than grades in a class. Class environment, teacher, what you knew going into the class and your study habits all would affect what and how you learn. Definitely do not let the math difficulties lead you to a career that is less than what you want to do and have the talent for. Tutoring and perseverance can get you a long way. If you are still in high school, take more math, maybe from a junior college or other resource. You should complete at least Algebra II, and then you will be fine.

Who told you that? College is like anything else - it is what you make of it. If you work really hard in high school, and succeed well, you won't have much problem with college work.
It depends on what you mean by this. Do you mean why do teachers give you honors work? If so then that is so that college recruiters will see that you worked hard during which ever year you did the work.
