If you do not clean the stitches, I would not be supised if the stitches got infected or if your cat was not careful and they caught on something.
To some extent it will for a second. When stitches are removed there is a little tug of the stitch as it is taken out. You can feel it, but it isn't as bad as when the stitch was put in. I had 8 taken out recently and was glad to have them out since they started to pull a little on the area where they were.
If you mean stitches then no. They usually numb the area before.

stitches is like getting needles stuck in you over and over but it's not that painful because had it done and it doesn't hurt at all. stitches doesnt really hurt i had it done on monday of oct 10,2011 when i was in the hospital i was just looking at the tv and next thing you know i look up the doctor all done and coming out please i mean just a baby ouchie but other then that wont even hurt i had it done before and this will be my second time too when the stitches in my finger come out so dont be afraid mr.stithes dont wanna hurt you he wanna help you heal so you can get back to playing sports or whatever you wanna do bye guys.
Cut it with scissors but it would hurt really bad. Don't try it. See your doctor.

Tubal ligation is usually performed using a laparoscope. The stitches used are usually dissolve on their own. To care for you stitches, they should be kept clean and dry.
It does not hurt at all. They just cut them you dont feel anything dont worry :)

I wouldn't advise it. When you take her back to the vet for removal of the stitches, it's a good time for the doctor to check her incision , etc. Take her to the vet.
