Because they aren't set up for use with the kinect. just like non-kinect 360 games
You dont need the kinect to set up the Xbox 360 S. Lets just sum this up. The kinect is a add-on for ANY Xbox 360 console. Asker note: No, I mean, how do I set up a new Xbox 360 that I am not using Kinect on.
It's a little card with a smiley face that kinect recognizes. It's in kinect adventures. The kinect recognizes it and uses it to calibrate. You line it up with glasses
No... Xbox360 kinect picks up black people... Taxi cabs however do not.
The reason the Xbox 360's Kinect costs so much is because its a relatively new add on for the xbox. The Kinect lets you put the controller away and play standing up. The Kinect has popular games like Dance Central, (you dance), Kinect Adventures, where you go on all kinds of adventures making you feel like your really there; and another popular game, Kinect Sports, where you can bowl, play soccer, and so much more. (Kinect sports is really an updated Wii sports that doesn't require any hands) hopes this helps!
I had this problem... On the account you are signed into you need to connect it to Xbox Live in order to get an update that will add "Kinect ID" to you options in your Kinect options
The Kinect is a add-on for the Xbox 360 console, this means any Xbox 360 can play the Kinect. To do so on the older Xbox 360 models, Just use the other cable which hooked up into the mains and your off. - The cable is provided within the Kinect box.
It's the callibration card. It calibrates your kinect because you line it up with sunglasses. I'm not joking.
If you play baseball for the kinect with more than one player.... the side effects can include; a broken(fat) hand, broken furniture, a hole in the wall, cuts on the hand, and more than likely everything will end up in ur sisters room.
There's lots! go to the kinect site and look up games. Some good ones are kinectimals for kids, kinect sports, Dance Central, and Your Shape Fitness Evolved.
Got kinect for Christmas? Set up depends on which xbox you have and which updates you've received. 1. i. older xbox 360 model. if you have the older model you're going to have to plug ne cord into the USB port on the back of the xbox and a cord in to the wall outlet for power. ii. xbox 360 slim (newer xbox). this is the xbox that would have came with your kinect in a bundle or it may have been obtained earlier. either way you just hook the USB cord into the back of the xbox. 2. place kinect below or above your tv in the middle. 3. turn on your xbox. you will most likely have to get an update for your kinect to work. some new game may contain this update such as the game that comes with kinect (not sure if this is one of them). If you dont have a game that will work, hook up your xbox to the internet to get the update. ( follow the tutorial at xbox.com/support for that) 4. after you have receiveed the update and have kinect plugged in it should take to you to the tutorial on making kinect work in your home (if it doesn't come up, on the dashboard go to kinect setup. 5. follow through the entire tutorial and this should set up spacing and noise calibrations. after this you may want to "fine tune" kinect. go to kinect setup and the bottom option. a card will a strange face on it that you will have received in kinect adventures (game that came with kinect) will be required in this. that about sums it up for you. have fun!
t e kinect is amazing and you do not need a controller so you can do anything you want on it. the options are: vidoe chat. online play. pary games. and mutch more. the kinect is very small and light so it is easy to pick up if you like the game on it know wait the games that are coming involves talking to the kinect because that was one of the best feature but in no game you have to talk and say play xbox and much more.
