Yes, but two males is a bad idea. and unless you want baby gecko's, no male or female. However, make sure they get along. i had 2 females and they fought alot. one had to be put down as she stopped eating, which the vet blamed on the other one stopping it. Any danger with gecko's is cage mates accidentally standing on eachothers tails. be aware of thses facts before getting another gecko.
If you keep a male and female together, they certainly will mate. It is not recommended to breed a female leopard gecko if she is below a safe weight, so do not raise the geckos in the same enclosure, as they may breed when the female is too small, and this risks her life and health.
In general, unless you are breeding them deliberately, do not house male and female leopard geckos together. Males can never be housed together. Females may be housed together in some cases, but always have another enclosure available, as not all individuals will get along!
Reptiles are solitary animals, and the majority of species prefer to live alone. Leopard geckos are no exception.
yes two female leopard geckos can live together fine as long as their is no big size difference and the tank is big enough for the both of them !
yes.
A female and a male gecko will get along but if you put two male geckos in the same cage as one gecko, they will fight over the female possibly leading to one geckos death.
yes they can but not males
This is some reasons a leopard geckos and Madagascar day geckos can't live together: #1: Madagascars have a different environment than leopard geckos. Madagascar day geckos live in tropical conditions and leopard geckos live in desert conditions. #2 they would be fighting because they are territorial.
If properly cared for, any Leopard Gecko can live up to 20 years.
No, a geckos leopard geckos diet consists of live feeders such as insects, arachnids, arthropods and smaller reptiles.
Leopard geckos live in a desert habitat, but not in a sandy one.
No, a leopard gecko can live with other leopard geckos, if both are female. During the breeding season, males can be housed with females but not any other reptile, unless you want a dead gecko.
Leopard geckos cannot live with panther geckos. Even though care for both are generally the same, there are some huge differences between the two. Leopard geckos are usually between 7 and 10 inches long (some almost a foot), and panthers are 4-6 (or occasionally up to 8) inches long. This size difference alone could do it. The Leopard geckos would pick on the panther geckos. Also, the climate of the two needs to be very different. Panther geckos live in southern Madagascar naturally, while Leopard geckos live in Afghanistan and neighboring countries. Panther geckos need higher humidity levels than Leopards, and lower temperatures. Together, either the leopard gecko, or the panther gecko, will suffer, if not both. Please, don't keep these two creatures together. It won't work out well.
