The price can vary on the rarity, the model, the condition, and how much of a collector's value it has. A single Matchbox model of yesteryear might cost about $50, while a set might fetch $100 or $200 or more.

This would depend on whether the model you are looking to buy is readily available and more importantly what the condition the model is in. A mint condition model is going to be substantially more expensive than a model which may have paint chips missing or is damaged in some way.
