YES, Adderall and other stimulants based on amphetamine will cause a UA or a swab to show up as "hot" for amphetamines.
Remember, standard drug tests do not test for the drug itself, they test for the metabolites of the drug, i.e. what your body turns the drug into. Since Adderall is a mixture of four different salts of amphetamine, your liver metabolizes these salts into the exact same chemicals that meth metabolizes to.

∙ 13y agoYes it will show up as an amphetamine as if you took speed or crank. If you have a priscription and are following it you woulnd't have a problem in the first place as long as you list it as a med you take when they ask when you give the U.A.
But if you don't have a priscription and are taking the U.A for a probation drug test your screwed.
If taken recreationaly it should be out of your system in 3 days. If taken for a long time in strong doses it can stay in your system for up to 30.
