In my case, adding more RAM definitely helped because I was always running out of memory with lots of tabs and apps open. It won't magically make every PC faster, but if you're low on RAM, the difference can be pretty noticeable.
If referring to Memory (RAM), then yes, it is better to have more memory in your PC as this will speed it up. Although it will use slightly more power (not much).

Add more, you cannot not speed it up, but you can improve it by adding RAM memory.
I had the same issue, most “speed up” fixes are just killing startup apps and clearing junk files tbh. Real upgrade is more RAM or switching to SSD if you’re still on HDD, that’s what actually gave me noticeable boost. Everything else is just temporary relief.
it won't speed up to pc, what it will do its speed up loading up high graphic such as games etc
The PC speed rating that matches up with DDR3-1600 RAM is PC3-12800. This designation indicates that the RAM operates at a maximum bandwidth of 12,800 MB/s. The "1600" in DDR3-1600 refers to the memory clock speed of 1600 MHz, which is consistent with the PC3-12800 rating.
NO, downloads have nothing what so ever to do with speed. The only affect a download has is storage. That is, it fills up your hard drive and takes away storage space. If you want to speed up your PC, there is no magic trick or and special thing. A lot of people take there PC to a place to get it done when it is very simple and not rocket science. Get a Registry cleaner, and defragment your hard drive. The only other way to get speed is to increase the memory the PC has. If you have 2gig memory, 3gig or 4gig will speed it up. Yes, its ok to run 4 gig on vista, just because windows does not see all of it,the computer is still using it.
It depends on the computer, but usually up to 4 GB of memory.
1. Increasing RAM Memory 2. Adding Graphics card/processor 3. Deleting unwanted files from c: these things can help speed up your PC
