Certainly not. Many Protestants believe this but it is an incomplete and truncated sort of belief which will NOT save you and will NOT get you to heaven. As St. James points out in his letter (James 2:14-26) faith without works is dead. In other words, the devils in hell all believe in Jesus a lot more then you or I do, but their faith does not save them - because they are not doing what was asked of them.
The only way that faith in Jesus gets anyone to heaven is to do what He asked of you and that involves denying yourself, and taking up your cross daily and following Him (St. Matthew 16:24). Taking up your cross daily, denying yourself, and following Jesus are the only way to get to heaven; faith is the very beginning of that.
