Dark side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
dark side of the moon by pink Floyd
Which one's Pink? ;-) But seriously, if any of the band members met either one of the jazz legends that made up their namesake, they did not say so in any official capacity.
Yes, pink floyd was on the billboard from 1973 to 1988 with the whole album dark side of the moon got them up their, over 50 million copies were sold! So 24% of the united states had that album.
Pink Floyd - The Wall Berlin, Germany over 400 Thousand Attendees
I was talking to my granddad (I'm the 4th generation of Floyd fans in the family, his father a fan too!) a few months ago and he mentioned about how him and a friend were going to go out to Egypt to see Pink Floyd play in the Valley of the Kings, however all that ever comes up when you google that is the '72 bootleg.
Not LikelyI thought they would when The Division Bell came out, and as the years went by I just reminded myself that they were over 50, taking longer to make another album every time, and had nothing to prove. And in '03 I had more hope when keyboardist Richard Wright said in a Guitar World feature on Dark Side of the Moon's 30th anniversary that it's been nine years and he (?-!) was wondering when Pink Floyd would do another. That should have told me something right there, but it wasn't until David Gilmour's last solo album came out and he said something that I finally got it. What he said was pretty concrete about no more Pink Floyd.
The full line up from their heyday will never reform, due to Richard Wright's death in 2008. The remainder of the lineup may get together, but there has been no announcement that would properly indicate this. The best that has ever been said is that David Gilmour and Roger Waters are beginning to get along again, due to Nick Mason's intervention.
yes, and when they did they were considering a different recording studio, and this only happened because it was cheaper.
They are an incredible band, but it is only a form of opinion.
Such a question has no specific answer, but quite possible The Beatles. Id say somewhere between Pink Floyd, U2, Beatles, Led Zepplin, Metallica
