The Guiarlink is simply a 1/4 inch guitar to USB converter. There is no way to connect this cable directly to an amplifier.

What is the difference between amplifiers and woofers?

An amplifier "amplifies" sound to create more clear, and sometimes, a louder sound. Subwoofers strengthen levels to create a stronger pulse from the sub and bass sounds in your player. An amplifier supplies sound to a woofer, but a woofer can act without an amplifier.

Can anyone suggest how can you choose amplifier and speakers?

you need to choose speakers according to the power supply of amplifier, so that the amplifier can wrok. Besides, to create good sound effect, you need to take your room area into consideration, if the room is small, amplifier and speakers with high power is not necessary. You can visit website of Unify company, they have many packages for amplifier and speakers, hope it can help somehow.

What is a direct coupled amplifier?

Quite simply, it's an amplifier wherein the stages as set up so that the output of one stage is coupled directly into the input of the next stage without any wave shaping or tuninig components between them. This makes for fairly flat frequency response. A link is provided to the Wikipedia article on direct coupling.

No. We've come past the point where either will interfer with anything aside from your driving becuase they create distractions.

How do you get a thick sound from a skinny guitar?

Its all in the pickups that you choose. Different pickups create different sounds. Add to that the fact that you can create just about any sound you want with the correct amplifier and you can see that whether or not the guitar is skinny has nothing to do with sound.

What does staggered tuning in electronics means?

It refers to the tuning a a multi-stage IF amplifier where successive stages are tuned to one side or the other of it's center frequency to create a wider bandwidth.

How do you create a battery operated sound system to go inside something?

First, decide what your audio source is going to be, and design an amplifier which will take the output of that source and amplify it to the levels you need to drive your chosen speakers. This amplifier will have to be capable of operating at a frequency greater than the highest one that you want to be capable of amplifying. Next, select a battery which will supply sufficent current at the rated voltage of the amplifier for the length of time that you need the system to run. Finally wire it up and install everything inside of this "something" that you mentioned.

How does capacitor improves the performance of a circuit?

This depends on what kind of circuit you have. Generally, you cannot just add a capacitor to a circuit and 'improve it'. Probably, though, you mean an amplifier, anf by improve, you mean improved frequency response. In a transistor amplifier, you sometimes want increased gain at higher frequencies. By adding a capacitor from the emitter to ground, you create a low impedance path to ground for the AC signal. This lowered emitter impedance increases the gain of the amplifier, for frequencies where the capacitor looks like a low impedance, or high frequencies.

Can you hook up an mp to a stock stereo?

Yes you can. First, determine which type of signal input is required by your amplifier, RCA inputs or (+/-) speaker wire. If it's only RCA inputs and your stock stereo does not have RCA outputs in the rear of the unit, then you will have to convert each speaker wire pairs to RCA with a converter, then go to your amplifier. If your stock unit does have RCA out, then just use an RCA cable and connect the signal from your stereo to your amplifier. Then simply follow the instructions from your amplifier to connect your speakers depending on if they are 2ohm, 4ohm, or 8ohm, etc. PS - make sure you properly ground your amplifier to either chassis or directly to the negative on your battery. If you create any large amounts of resistance or have extra wire hanging around, you will get ground loops and EMI problems and hear engine noise from your speakers as you accelerate. Good Luck
