You probably have a short in your abs system which has blown your fuse try pulling the fuse. This happened in my 2000 sunfire and I pulled the fuse and all the gauges work now.
check your abs fuse.
Pull the ABS fuse located in the under hood fuse box. Pull the ABS fuse located in the under hood fuse box.
pull mthe fuse under the hood a 60 amp fuse it worked for me.
Where is abs fuse at
The ABS will not function if needed and the ABS light will remain illuminated.
Pull the fuse, but the abs light will remain on.
If you are trying to turn out the light, taking the ABS fuse out will not turn it off as it's a fail-safe light and will come on if power is lost to the ABS system or there is a fault with it. Only way is to take the actual bulb out.
A malfunction has been detected with the Anti-lock Braking System ( ABS ) could be a fuse , an ABS sensor , or some other problem * in my case , the ABS light suddenly came on and the first ABS fuse that I checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse with my finger , heard a " click " and the ABS light went out ( just lucky I guess , but also suspicious of how that could have happened )
on My 1995 limited the fuse is red and it is #14 in the fuse panel if you remove the fuse the yellow abs light on your dash board will stay on .....
under hood fuse box there is a 60 amp fuse labeled abs remove it and the abs will not work and the abs light will come on in the dash but you will be able to stop now
take out fuse 2 abs light on instrument panel
