system running hot fans not running
The cooling system helps keep the car from running too hot. A diagram for the 1998 Ford Taurus cooling system can be found in the car's maintenance or repair manual.
No, you cannot put Pepsi inside of your car's cooling system. This could seriously damage if not make your vehicle inoperable.
In the cooling system it transfers heat out through the radiator. If mixed with the gasoline, it can cause rough running or no start. If pulled in through the air filter it can cause a catastrophic failure.
Not if the cooling system is operating properly.
this sounds like a bad thing to me...like the reservoir and/or the cooling system, has no antifreeze in it and heat from the engine is exiting through the cooling system. Does your temperature gauge read in the normal range? Is the car running OK? FriPilot
This is the result of a dirty cooling system. Corrosion is occuring in the engine block and a cooling system flush is required. Always use a good quality corrosion inhibitor in your cooling system to prevent overheating and possible head gasket damage.
If no liquid in the cooling system, then the heads are probably warped and the engine is ruined. If running straight water and no antifreeze, then permanent damage unlikely unless the temps have been cold enough to freeze the water in the engine (popping the freeze plugs), or the engine has gotten hot enough to boil off the water in the cooling system. 50/50 mix of distilled water and antifreeze is necessary to prevent freezing, boil-over, and cooling system corrosion.
The cooling system of a hydro-generator is one that is done through channels. It is sent through rotor steels. This is essential when it comes to passing air along quickly.
The system will produce excessively high pressure which could damage fittings and components, and you'll get insufficient cooling from the AC system.
Most vehicles are different, they can range from 190-250 degrees farenheit.
It is cooling the engine off. Your Honda may be running slightly hot. I suggest you service the cooling system. Drain, flush, replace the thermostat, install a 50/50 mix of antifreeze & distilled water, bleed air from system.
