Hi, We tried and tried and tried. Sim3 kept crashing during play. I advise Do NOT buy this game. It should work on modern system with XP sp 2 CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz x 2 (2.79Ghz)
RaM: 1.0 GB
GPU: Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family (PS2.0/VS0.0)
VRAM: 128 MB We have returned the game to the store.
I think so :)
Most Dell computers ship with a version of Windows installed. If this is the case then yes, the Sims will work on it. If you got a Dell with a version of Linux installed, you will still probably be able to play, but might have to do some extra work to get it to play.
Here is what i found. It should, but Sims 3 might be your best bet on medium or low quality.
The memory upgrade will speed up processes somewhat but it will be hardly noticeable.
It works for most computers that at least have XP. I have Windows 7 and it works great!
No, the 8600 gt requires a PCI-E slot but the Dell only has a PCI slot. that graphics card will also be held back by the CPU so, even if it would work, it would not work to its full potential because the CPU would be able to keep up
no. sorry. The insiron mini's graphics card will not support the sims. belive me ive tried.
It might be iffy but it should work. If you have a lot of ram sometimes it will help. Worse case you may have to run it on the low settings and definitely won't be able to use any of the higher HD "texture" packs.
I have the same computer it will work but the cheat code frame wont come up and I dont know what the buttons are im still searching
no sorry!
I have a dell INSPIRON 6400 and sims works perfectly on it. Even some gaming laptops from ASUS has video cards that will and can run The Sims 3!
no just like the sims expantion packs don't work on the sims 2
