with the wingmaster barrel you can only shoot lead, but if you change the barrel to a slugster you can shoot slugs and buckshot, they also have a barrel for steel shot to.
Can you shoot slugs through a steel choke tube?
Depends on the choke. MOST chokes, including full choke, can safely fire slugs. Some makers of adjustable chokes recommend that slugs NOT be fired thru their chokes. A very few chokes, such as the Extra Full chokes used on some turkey guns should not be used for slugs.
Can you shoot steel shot out of a lead only tube?
No. If it is marked 'lead only' then it must have been manufactured after steel shot was available but not designed to withstand the additional friction from steel shot.
Can a BB gun that shoots plastic BBs shoot lead ones?
Yes it could possible shoot lead ones, or steel ones for that matter but just not at the same velocity as a plastic bullet. They make steel airsoft bbs if that helps you out.
Can you shoot lead out of a steel choke?
Yes. Lead shot may be safely fired from a shotgun that is made for steel shot. Problems arise when you fire steel shot from an older shotgun that is made for lead shot only- the barrel is softer metal, and make be scratched by the steel shot.
Can you shoot a slug through your bay state 12 gauge choke?
Yes. Standard chokes should be OK. Extra full chokes, on modern turkey guns, no.
