Yes, 1300 and 1400 stocks can interchange on Winchester, depending on the specific model and design of the rifle in question. However, it's essential to ensure compatibility, as some features or dimensions may differ. Always consult the manufacturer's specifications or a knowledgeable gunsmith to confirm proper fit and function.
The Winchester model 12 shotguns with the Y prefix were made by Winchester from 1972-1975.These vent rib barrel shotguns were hand checkered, with select walnut stocks and jeweled bolt. They were fine made shotguns that were only available for 3 years, and sold out quickly.
Yes the 140 is a cheaper varient of the model 1400. Just as the model 120 is a cheaper varient of the 1200. The only difference is that the 140 and the 120 were offered with hard wood stocks where as the 1400 and the 1200 were offered in Walnut as well as hardwood and even synthetic stocks. The 140 was made as an entry level shotgun with focus towards military and police sales. They were only made for 2 years and they are getting really hard to find. Most people do not remember them at all but they were excellent shotguns.
A savage 755 is the same.

Stocks for the 1200, 1400, 1500 should interchange. Nummrich (gunpartscorp.com) has synthetic stocks in stock.
Sometimes they will within a particular model.
No, they are not. I bought a Speck Ops folding stock for the Winchester 1200/1300 series of shotguns, for my Winchester SXP Defender. Upon trying to install the stock, it was obviously much different than the old 1200/1300 series. ATI mentions a stock system with Winchester adapter for the 1300 and the SXP series, try calling them to see if you can buy just the adapter or the stock system, if that is what you are looking for.
No, there are several differences in the mechanics of the gun.
Most likely not since the production of the Winchester model 12 was discontinued in 1963 and synthetic stocks were not on guns for the public until around 1965
There is no difference between penny stocks and cent stocks.
