No. but certain (high) levels will show up positive as opiates. suboxone has its own drug test meaning there is a way to test for it but it isn't tested for in 5, 6, 9, or 12 panel standard instant/lab testing.

It won't show up on a dipstick test. If the lab has a GC/MS machine it can program it to look for suboxone and report it in the opiates class--the machine will say what opiate it is, and it'll say "buprenorphine" which is the chemical name of suboxone.

Yes, Suboxone is an opiate

Edit: Yes it is a opiate, BUT it depends on what kind of screen you are taking. It doesn't show up on a regular saliva screen or 5 panel.

I am a patient that has taken Soboxone for over 5 years. That being said, I could not afford to go to the doctor and ran out of meds, so I took a Lorcet and my doctor knew the difference. I am not sure which test they use, but every time I go I have to give urine and it is tested, so it will show up differently in a drug screen.

No, suboxone does not show up as an opiate in a urine drug test. A specific test for suboxone must be performed in order to detect this substance. Suboxone is commonly prescribed by doctors in the treatment of those who are suffering from opiate addictions. This drug reverses the effects of narcotic medications.

No. It only shows up if they specifically test for it, and my doctor says they hardly ever do.

no it doesn't they need a special test to detect it and they only do it at drug programs to make sure you take your suboxone and don't sell it... so for a regular urine test it does not show

Will suboxone show up in a urine test for probation?

"Suboxone" is a synthetic opiate and will not show up on a traditional drug test (such as career or probation wise) . They have to test specifically for Opiate trases in the urine for it to be detected. So in your case you should be fine. Unless your record shows past misuse of any form or derivitive of any opiate substance.

Will subuoxen show up in a urine test sent to a lab?

No. Suboxone is an opiate, but it will not show up as an opiate on a drug test. It will only show up if they are specifically testing for it, which my doctor says is very rare.

Can tramadol cause a falso positive on a urine test for Suboxone?

In a sense. Suboxone contains opiates, and the test is for opiate drugs, not specifically for Suboxone. Tramadol is also an opiate, and so the test will be positive, as it is supposed to be.

Will suboxone show up in a Florida probation drug test?

Yes, suboxone is a opiate and will show in a drug screen for opiates. Suboxone is not an opiate. It is for opiate dependency its to help with withdrawal If you are prescribed Suboxone you have nothing to worry about in taking a drug test, I take soboxone an I am on probation, an they do not test for that, I am honest with them an tell them I take suboxone.

In a 10 panal urine drug test will suboxone show up?

NO! Various bloggers online claim that it is an opiate and therefore will show up on the 5 panel (which tests for opiates) test. This is incorrect as suboxone is an opiate agonist and therefore will not appear even on the 10 panel. The only way to be tested for suboxone is a pharma-specific buprenophrine test that would cost hundreds of dollars! This test is, for the most part, done primarily by physicians who are trying to help their opioid dependent patients (via 12 panel test). - you can verify all of this by calling THE suboxone pharmacy.

Will suboxone show up as oxycotin?

I just failed a urine drug test for my probation officer. I only took Suboxone but it showed up as Oxycontin ! They sent it to the lab and I dont know what it will come back as. Sorry. You sure ?? He isn't trying to get you to admit to something. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. The test might of been messed up. There is noway suboxone would show up as oxicotin. So you're saying the drug test didn't say opiate but broke it down into the specific opiate. Com'onIf a person takes an opiate the a suboxone, it will not cancel out the opiate in your urine!! just saying. LOL

Can suboxone test positive for codiene?

No, suboxone will not show up on a regular 8-panel test as an opiate or anything else. There is a test for suboxone, but it must be specifically tested for.

Can suboxone give a false positive on a drug test?

No it will not. On your standard urine text the buprenorphine nor the naloxone witch make up the suboxone will not.register for any of the drugs they test for. If it is a test they are sending out to a lab it will show up but they usually have to be looking for it .. it will not show up as a opiate tho
