I think its a good switch compared to the one you are using now compared to other lower version ink catridges. If you are looking for other cartridges even HP is good option to look for.

Transistors are used for switching devices! What gave you the idea they aren't?
You do not have to use the same two ink cartridges. It might be a good idea to buy new ones though in case the inks were to cross contaminate because of a leak.
no idea pls help out
working out certain areas at once before switching would be a good idea

Yes of course, in my opinion canon sd950 is one of the most popular digital cameras at nowadays

Toner is mainly made of high-molecular polymer, once it leaks out of the cartridge, may cause severe health problem. Therefore, printer toner cartridges should be recycled or better yet, remanufactured because of environmental reasons. Recycling or remanufacturing empty toner cartridges from printers prevents them from ending up in landfills. It also saves natural resources that would have used in manufacturing a new one. Aside from being eco-friendly, recycling or remanufacturing printer toner cartridges means a less expensive choice in replacing used up printer cartridges.

You can get ahold of them at 1-705-817-1381. Ask for Casey, he's the go to guy for Canon's marketing.
Yes, Canon does make printers that include fax capabilities. Many of their multifunction printers (MFPs) combine printing, scanning, copying, and faxing in one device. If you're looking for a specific model, it's a good idea to check Canon's website or the specifications of the printer to ensure it has the fax feature you need.
