If the test includes benzodiazepines(valium/diazepam, ativan/lorazepam, xanax, temazepam etc...it WILL show up on a drug test. If the test is just for opiates or illicit substances like ETOH(alcohol), or marijuana(THC) then it won't show up. If you have a prescription for Restoril/temazepam a positive test shouldn't be an issue and (if it's for an employer, the drug company will probably call you directly and ask for proof your authorized to take this medicine. If a prescription for the suvstance is confirmed thru your MD or pharmacist, then the drug testing lab will report a "clean" test due to patient confidentiality laws.
