As from the Australian EB Games Magazine, "Game Informer", Sims 3 will be released on PS3, 360, Wii, DS and PSP, in 2010.
However, the specific date is yet to be confirmed.
while i dont know about sims 3, i do know that there is a sims game for the wii, called 'My Sims'. The plot of the game that you move to a city and the city is very poor. you have to rebuiled it to make it a turist atraction.
