As long as there is a parent/guardian to pick them up with proof of the child being theirs. On some airlines UM or unacompanied minor services will have to be purchased, but on others 12 year olds can fly on their own. Check with the airline you plan on flying with ahead of time.
well what 12 year old would want to! cause im 17 and i wouldn't! :D
Absolutely! every one needs ID to fly domestically, and everyone must have a passport when they fly internationally.
yeah beacuse 4 year olds are boss
This would be dependant on where they where flying to. Most airlines have a proceedure to deal with UM's (unaccompanied minors). However, a child aged twelve would not be able to fly from America to the UK without an adult. Therefore you would need to check with the airline to discuss this further with them.
Do what fly packs or alone?
No. I recently saw a news item where 3 children did fly alone. One reason they were able to do this is that the oldest was 16 and in some states the airlines will allow a 16 year old to fly alone. He/she still needs the proper documents and identification as well as a ticket.
Yes a 9 year old child can fly alone, but he/she would need to have a personal flight attendant which could be costly (depends on the airline and if he/she is flying domestic or international).
Yes, at 18 years old you are legally considered an adult and do not require parental consent for anything.
Children don't fly alone. They are closely supervised by airline personnel. If this involves a long distance visitation, but two two round trip tickets for yourself.
Aerovist airline fly domestically and internationally to a larger variety of different locations. They fly to destinations such as USA, Canada, Russia an India.
Yes, If under a certain age like 12 needs supervision. 16 year olds are people around that age are allowed to travel alone.
Yes, you would need a passport for this as you are traveling internationally.
