A fishes breathing rate is totally dependent upon the temp of the water, the activity of the fish and its state of excitement/panic etc. In order to be given new conditions a fish will have been chased, netted, enclosed/trapped in a small container, and it may also suffer considerable temperature changes and water parameter changes as well as an environmental change/shock. I would expect a fishes breathing rate to increase tremendously after such treatment.
Have them get used to the new temperature change. i did a science fair project over water temperature on the breathing rate of goldfish and i had to change the water temperature many times. Stay in the temperature range of 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure to not mess with the fish or tap on the tank because goldfish get stressed out very easily and can die from it.

Normally goldfish are peaceful and calm. But incase your goldfish is doing so then its better to separate the new goldfish.

Yes a habitat can change over 24 hours. A birth or death can occur, new species can be found and life can change. Habitats differ everywhere but all can change over the course of 24 hours.
If your habitat were to change, you may need to adapt to the new environment to survive. This could involve finding new sources of food, shelter, or developing different behaviors to avoid predators. If you are unable to adapt to the change, it may put your survival at risk.
earthquakes could destroy habitat but human can build artificial habitat.destroyed habitat due to natural calamity would actually rebuild new habitat.
No
If you have recently added a new goldfish to a bowl, it is possible that the original tenants will see the new fish as an intruder. I had 3 goldfish and they actually taunted the new fish I added to the tank, keeping him at the other end of the tank. Eventually, they ate him. No joke.
Climate change can cause various effects. It causes living organisms to move from their natural habitat.
about half an hour to an hour
