Where does Loki live?

Loki, commonly known as the Norse god of mischief (among other things) doesn't currently live anywhere! According to the Eddas & Sagas he was slain by Heimdall (Shining one) on the field of Vigrid during the battle of Ragnarok. Before his death, Loki was one of the Aesir (gods) and as such, lived in Asgard with his counterparts. After his exile from Asgard, Loki went to live in Midgard (Middle garden... the world of men), where he ran amok causing all manner of trouble. The stories then have him residing in Niflheim (the underworld) with his spawn; Hel, Garm and the Fenris wolf until the dawning of the final battle.

What was Norse mythology all about?

In Norse mythology there were 9 worlds: Gimle (the high heaven), Asgard (world of the aesir gods), Alf Heim (world of the elves),Vana Heim ( world of the Vanir gods), Jotun Heim (world of the giants and trolls), Midgard (the earth), Darkalf Heim (world of the gnomes), Muspel Heim (world of fire), and Hel Heim and Nifl Heim, which both made up the underworld. Norse mythology mostly tells the story of the aesir gods. The aesir gods included gods such as Odin, Thor, Heimdall (guard of Asgard, which was the home of the gods),Freya, Frigg, Loki, and many others. Loki was special because he was a jotun (a frost giant) but he looked like a god and so Odin became blood brothers with him by mixing their blood. And thus Loki became a god. It soon became clear that Loki was more trouble than he was worth, but the gods couldn't do anything to the trickster because he was Odin's blood brother. Loki's sons and daughter eventually brought about Ragnarokk, the end of the Norse gods.
