No, the supply company will not allow anyone to install a double pole isolator switch between the cut out fuse and the consumer unit. This is the utility company's primary voltage line. The only people that are allowed to work on their equipment is their own employees. These people are trained linemen who know and respect high voltage and know all of the safety procedures to adhere to.
