No it will not, the 2.9 and 3.0L are 2 totally different motors.
you can get the 2.5 liter and it should line up as long as you get the same year engine to line up on the tranmission.
You need to look on your transmission there should be 2 of them I have A 96 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER 3.0 liter and it has 2 on the transmission on it just match up ur sensors not very hard. sorry best i can do.

yes
The modulator valve on a 2007 automatic 4.2 liter transmission goes on the underside of the transmission. You will need to jack up the vehicle in order to reach the valve.

yes
Yes it will bolt wright up to it. Bolt patteren is the same.
Well what kind of a transmission is it bolted up to? different transmissions hold different amounts of transmission fluid and a 6.5 liter diesel will bolt up to several different transmissions.
new venture gear transmission
The answer is no. A 302 or 5.0 will NOT bolt up to a 4.6 Liter 4r70w transmission or visa versa.
First Gen teggy transmission will match up. They are the best bet as far as gear ratios. you will also need the cv axles and clutch from a teggy. Very hard to find otherwise any other transmission that is Honda will for that year will match up.
