It is conceivable that the United States could take a more critical position towards Israel, but for the next two decades, the US should maintain a Pro-Israel approach because of the large number of Zionist Christians in the United States. In a few decades, however, the younger generation of Americans will be more prominent and they are less Pro-Israel than their parents. Whether this will have a demonstrable effect on US Foreign Policy remains to be seen.
