According to American Girl's website, they are having a 25th Anniversary Cruise in November 2011. One of the events during that cruise is the "New Historical Character Event". I would imagine we will see a new character this year, considering they have retired 3 Historical Characters (and 2 best friends) and only added 1 new Historical Character (Rebecca Rubin). I guess we will have to wait and see!
