September 26, 2009:Yes there will be a 3rd season of Shugo Chara, and it will either be called 'Shugo Chara Party' or 'Shugo Chara Doki Doki' and is due to air in Japan October 3rd 2009.
There will also be a new character joining the bad side called Rikka.
Sadly Ikuto will not be in the 3rd season he will only appear once which should be to tell the group he's going to look for his and Utau's father Aruto, in which in the Manga he tell's Amu when he is in the airport that he "will make her fall in love with him" and kisses her on her cheek but is very close to her mouth.
