There are currently thirteen Silent Hill games. Seven in the main series, four spin-off titles, and two remakes.
It depends. He made 49 movies that are classified as "silent" films, but made many more in which he did not speak any lines of dialog, so he was silent, but the movies were not.
There is no actual Silent Hill but the film drew a lot of inspiration from Centralia, PA.
Pyramid Head never dies. He appears in Silent Hill two and Silent hill homecoming, but never dies. There are actually more than one pyramid head, as shown on Homecoming, so if one were to die, another would take his place.
In my opinion, Silent Hill is far better. It is scarier and in a more subtle, psychological way. It's full of the kind of stuff that causes nightmares, whereas Resident Evil is not. The more recent Resident Evils are too action-oriented to be very scary. Silent Hill has an in-depth, highly emotional plot full of turns that draw you in. When you finish a Silent Hill game, you find yourself with many questions that you have to make your own conclusions about. Silent Hill has the soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka which is incredibly creepy on its own. It has so many things going for it.
Many people will have different opinions, but honestly my word I would say can be highly respected, I am quite a Silent Hill fanatic and pretty much study it to the core. I look beyond it just being monsters and fog but into the actual anthology of it. The worst Silent Hill installment was easily the movie for millions of reasons, which naturally makes Homecoming the worst of the games as it borrows largely from the movie. The movie was made by a team that had no business making it in the first place and so did Homecoming, so that on top of borrowing from the movie results in a very incorrect and flawed Silent Hill experience. However, Homecoming is overall a pretty good game and a fun and interesting survival horror. If one were to look past Silent Hill and look at it as more of a Stephen King or Sci Fi channel type of story then its a good experience. But when tagged with Silent Hill its very much full of errors. So, good horror game, bad Silent Hill game. It is pretty much the opposite of everything in the Silent Hill golden age (silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3).
Is is more than possible that Maria was bearly part of Silent Hill and was only there to help James through hi guilt, just like Pyramid Head was.
one. hopefully there will be more in the future.
people loved silent films because, let's face it, there were no movies with sound in creation at the time, so the silent film was a big enough step into the future. it was like the ipad. when the first ipad came out, no one cared that there was no 3G, eveyone bought it because it was so cool and revolutionary. then when the ipad 2 came out, everyone thought the first one was obsolete and not as good. also with silent movies, when they first came out they were so cool and new everyone wanted to see one. once the invention of movies with sound was made, it made silent films look bad
Some scientists might know how many silent movies were made. Personally, I do not know, for silent movies were made quite a long time ago.
Because with audible words, so much more emotion can be expressed.
Well yes movies have become more and more violent over the decades, originally films were silent and more slapstick violence and then it became more shootouts and then you jump to the 1980's and movies like Alien and Terminator and now you look at movies like Saw and Hostel and you realize a trend.
