The closest thing FFVIII fans will get to a remake is if/when Square-Enix remasters the older PS FF's and releases them on the PSN. There has been some talk of an FF HD collection similar to the God of War Collection that was released that features updated graphics of the previous God of War games.

∙ 14y agoThe only new Final Fantasy VII game that I've been hearing about is the (supposed) Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS3. Square Enix won't say much on the subject.
