You might be thinking of an old, false rumour associated with "Midnight Pass" or "WolfQuest: Midnight Pass" from late 2010, a fabricated third episode featuring werewolves and hunters. In truth the footage used chroma keyed assets from World of Warcraft, but you won't be able to see it for yourself as the original video was removed. The rumour was officially quashed by the WolfQuest Team confirming that, at the time, no such episode would ever exist. The reality is that there is no such place called "Midnight Pass" in Yellowstone National Park, where episodes of WolfQuest take place.

As of 2014 version 2.5 will remain free but be aware that it is no longer being developed as all efforts are instead being focused on versions 2.7 and newer. However, the updated game is not free.

At this time, the WolfQuest Team are developing episode 3 -- its official name is Tower Fall, another real location in Yellowstone National Park. Because the game is intended as an educational and realistic simulation intended to teach players about wolf ecology, there will be no werewolves nor hunters. (Hunting in Yellowstone is prohibited.)
