After the release of Shrek Forever After, there will be no more Shrek movies. DreamWorks Animation scrapped plans to make a Shrek 5 and even marketed Shrek Forever Afteras Shrek: The Final Chapter to emphasize that it will be the last Shrek movie.

∙ 6y agoNo, there will not be a 5th Shrek movie. DreamWorks has declared that Shrek For Ever After, produced in 2010, would be last Shrek movie they would produce. There were some rumors about making a 5th film in 2013, and then pushed back to 2016, however rumors have been dismissed by DreamWorks.
