They have never tried to bring it up as a whole, or rather a half of the original ship. There have been numerous salvaging operations that have undergone gathering pieces of miscellaneous items that surround the ship, as well as a chunk of iron from the hull itself. I recently read an article in National Geographic that went into great details about whats been surfaced of the wreck and the opposition of doing just that

It's a shame they won't bring it up though, because eventually, due to all the corrosion, rust, etc., the Titanic will turn into a big orange stain at the bottom of the ocean.

∙ 10y agoOutside of artifacts and sample hull pieces that were salvaged and researched, the Titanic itself has never been raised. It is unlikely for it to be raised due to its deteriorating condition.
