if it is a chew toy then they will but if they are stressed out they will chew on any type of furniture, so you should talk to your vet if your dog is well trained and is chewing on things that he/she shouldn't be.
Many puppies like to chew on your socks, shoes, or you. To avoid little puppy teeth holes in your stuff, you may consider buying toys for your puppy. My puppy loves to chew on toys that squeaky. Dogs like high pitched sounds more than low, for example they like it better when you talk in nice higher pitched voices, not like when your saying "Bad Dog" to them.
There are some toys at your local wal-mart that are only $1. You may not want to go get them a huge rawhide bone yet; their puppy teeth are delicate.
Hope this helped
Dogs love to chew on bones, chew toys and much more. Puppies will chew on anything- the washing, shoes, anything!
Pretty much everything. Your couch, stairs, carpet, tables chairs, etc.. ;) But the also love rawhide and pork skin!

dogs like to chew bones. The best bones my dog likes to chew are rawhides and pigs ears. My dog likes to chew anything he shouldn't - shoes, toys, carpet, steps, sofas etc. Here is what he gets up to... http://doggy-bloggy.co.uk
Get him a chew toy or treats he really likes! :)

The dog named biscuit is a dog. His dog is a Havanese. He likes to chew things and fetch frisbees. He is small and black.
It doesn't necessarily mean anything. They may be thirsty or think it tastes good. My dog likes to lick leaves and likes to chew on tree roots. Maybe it has some type of scent on it that he/she likes.

She is THE MOST AWESOME!!! dog in the world. she is very cute and loyal and loves to be scratched behind the ears. she likes to chew on chewy bones, but don't let her chew too long because it can hurt her teeth. She has the prettiest feet you will EVER see!!!
If your dog loves food, you know what makes them happy! FOOD! Or, maybe if you have a very playful dog, play with them, or take them for a walk. Maybe get a lot of chew toys and kong toys if your dog likes to play alone...
Answer A dog may chew his paws for several reasons. 1. Maybe there is something stuck between the dog's toes. 2. Maybe the dog stepped in something that he/she was allergic to. 3.Maybe the dog is nervous The best answer can be found at a vet. They went to school, studied animals till they couldn't see straight so perhaps for a few bucks you might save your dog some discomfort.
