Fuel injector cleaner does not hurt anything, but most fuels already have a cleaning additive in their fuel.
It won't hurt the engine but it will hurt the catalytic converter.
Turning the fuel screw on a Cummins will determine the fuel flow tot he engine. If the screw is set too high of low then the engine will not run properly and could cause engine damage.
A man in new jersey tested this out and was disappointed to find out the engine stalls and does nothing. Also it will not hurt the engine.
Poured on the outside - no. Poured in the gas tank - depends on how much fuel you had inside. Almost empty - odds are the engine won't run. Mostly fuel - it'll be fine.
It won't really hurt your engine to bad but it will rob your power. Your engine doesn't compress hard enough to ignite all that fuel so there will be leftover of gas which will cause your engine internals to sluge up.
Any leak will change the way the engine breathes. Any change can change the air/fuel mixture. If it changes enough it can cause damage.
"Hurt" can be both a noun and a verb. As a noun, it refers to physical or emotional injury. As a verb, it means to cause physical or emotional pain or harm.
dont even attempt it you will not save fuel, you will further hurt you cylinder that has problems, just dont do it you will also ruin you cat because of the raw fuel coming out of your exhaust you will also ruin other cylinders from running to lean
It could possibly be an additive in the fuel. Some types of fuel injector cleaner can clean as well as possibly damage fuel injectors. It's also possible that debris from somewhere in the fuel lines is getting into them. It wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure to see if the fuel pump is operating correctly. Another possibility might be the electrical side of the system.
It does not hurt an engine to run it with no exhaust muffler
As long as engine does not "ping" excessively should be fine
