You can buy a PCI Express Video card for the Inspiron 530. You can find these on www.ebuyer.com, www.overclockers.co.UK, www.aria.co.UK, eBay and others. Make sure you know what you are doing before you fit a Video Card. If you are unsure, get someone who knows how to fit it for you. If you are still wanting to do it yourself, there is a guide at http://www.pchardware.co.UK/install-graphics-card-guide.php that will show you how to do it.
The XPS is made more for gaming and is a far better computer. It may be more expensive than the Inspiron but it comes with extras such as an aftermarket CPU cooler and a case that makes repairs and upgrades easily. The questions is really if you need it or not. If you don't plan on using it for gaming, video editing or other high demand process, you should save the money and get the Inspiron
Yes, you can upgrade your Dell Inspiron 530 with the G33MO2 0RY007 motherboard to a Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor. The motherboard supports the LGA 775 socket, which is compatible with the Q6600. However, ensure that your power supply can handle the additional power requirements, and check that your cooling system is sufficient for the increased heat output of the quad-core processor.
