Can't be cured but can be treated, the level of recovery depends on the person and the level of severity of the illness.
I'd suggest finding the real reason the mental problems came about and try to treat them.
It's always been a mental illness, never mentioned as any kind of plague.
She was addicted to drugs, which some can consider a mental illness, there are plenty of drug addicts in the mental hospitals. Miss Joplin, sadly, had no religious background of any kind, and there were no religious trappings, even crosses at her funeral. She may have been bisexual as well.A bit more:While drug addiction is a disease, it is not typically considered a "mental illness". As for her not having a "religious background of any kind", that is not a mental illness, it's a lifestyle choice; it comes under our American freedoms - freedom of religion (or lack thereof). And, while I am a Christian, I can still honestly say that if not being "religious" were a form of mental illness, there wouldn't be enough mental hospitals in the world to treat everyone who doesn't believe in God. As for there being "no religious trappings, even crosses at her funeral" - what? And, while there is no proof "she may have been bisexual", even if she had been bisexual, that is not a mental illness, either.
No. I must admit, that after you have been cured, your chances for taking over the world are poor. You can only hope to kill the one's that havent been cured
Lithium
I believe he's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
In the past mental illness was not viewed as an illness but, simply that something was wrong with the individuals that were not like everyone else. In today's society, mental illness is treated in a variety of ways, and is viewed as a true disorder.
Your mental health (or mental illness) is not a matter of public record unless you have been charged with a crime and have pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Sia has been open about her struggles with mental health, including her experiences with depression and anxiety. She has discussed how these challenges have impacted her life and career. While she has not publicly labeled herself with a specific mental illness, her candidness has helped raise awareness about mental health issues.
NO!!! Just as homosexuals are not "mentally ill", neither are transgendered people. It is not a "disease" which can be "cured." Likewise, it is not something that can be "caught." Unlike people with mental disorders, a transgendered person has the same thoughts and feelings as anyone else, and should not be treated as someone who has anything less than full mental faculties.
mental illness isnt a brief matter, it can cause huge troubleness leading to danger. mental illness isnt a short time sickness, it is a long time sickness. MW could hav been in your body since you were young.
